Bette Midler opens on Broadway- Review Roundup

ill-eat-you-last-bette midlerAfter a 33 year absence from Broadway, the Divine Miss M opened her new one woman show I’ll Eat You Last: A Chat with Sue Mengeron April 24, 2103.  Starring Bette Midler with a script by John Logan (Red - 4.67 stars on TheaterAdvisor) and directed by Tony Award winner Joe Mantello (Wicked 4.68 stars on TheaterAdvisor), the show is playing at the intimate Booth Theatre to sold-out crowds and opening night saw a bevy of celebs in attendance. Ms. Midler joins three the solo shows this season in Macbeth, Ann and The Testament of Mary, which have all opened this busy Spring Broadway season. The show has been grossing at over 100% int he high $600K’s since it opened and it looks like this show will be a bonafide super hit!
