“Submissions Only,” a grassroots web sitcom that shows viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Broadway, plans to continue in its second season and feature special guest stars Marc Kudish (9 to 5, The Apple Tree), Cass Morgan (Memphis, Mary Poppins) and Condola Rashad (Stick Fly) in its sixth episode, which will air Friday, March 2 on www.BroadwayWorld.com.

The latest installment begins the day after the Broadway opening of “Iron Dog,” a gritty play starring Aaron Miller (played by Santino Fontana), the object of Penny Reilly’s (played by Kate Wetherhead) irrational obsession. The episode will feature the premier of an original song, “Two Cents,” by Jeff Blumenkrantz and sung by Broadway’s Gavin Creel.

“Submissions Only” follows the friendship of two theater professionals, an actress, played by Kate Wetherhead, and a casting director, played by Colin Hanlon. They work to build careers in the notoriously tricky and often absurd world of Broadway theatrics.

New York actors Kate Wetherhead and Andrew Keenan-Bolger created the series in August 2010. Wetherhead serves as co-director and head writer. Keenan-Bolger serves as co-director and editor.

The production team includes Andrew Keenan-Bolger as co-Executive Producer and Director of Photography; Kate Wetherhead as co-Executive Producer; Jeff Croiter as Supervising Producer; Neal Hunter Hyde as Coodinating Producer; and Michael Croiter/Yellow Sound Lab as Sound Editor.
