It’s official! The Tony Awards have a date and location for the 2013 ceremony. And guess what—The Tony Awards will return to Radio City Music Hall!

CBS will telecast the American Theatre Wing’s 67th Annual Tony Awards live on Sunday, June 9 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The Tony Awards, which honors theatre professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway, has been broadcast on CBS since 1978.  As in past years, the show-stopping awards ceremony will include musical performances and celebrity presenters. The Tonys are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

A limited number of tickets to the 2013 Tony Awards will be made available to the general public this spring.  Tickets will be available for purchase at TonyAwards.com starting on April 30.

The official eligibility cut-off date will be Thursday, April 25 for all Broadway productions opening in the 2012-2013 season.  Productions that meet all other eligibility requirements and open on or before the eligibility date may considered eligible for 2013 Tony Award nominations.

The Nominations for the 2013 Tony Awards will be announced live on Tuesday, April 30 from New York City.
