In a new developer blog, the studio outlined three major pillars for fresh content rolling out across the current and future seasons, alongside long-requested tweaks to hero progression, cosmetic rewards, and even a surprise crossover event.

At the heart of the roadmap sits a promise to avoid grind-heavy systems. The developers stressed that every new mode and event is being built with a respect for players’ time, ensuring there is always room to enjoy the core adventure without feeling pressured to clock in for endless daily chores.

A Three-Directional Content Strategy

The plan for the rest of 2026 and beyond revolves around three distinct content tracks:

• Guild Social 🏰 – Building on the success of the recently introduced Clashfronts, the team will add and update modes that deepen cooperation and friendly competition within guilds. Enhanced administrative tools are already on the way, including a higher word limit for guild announcements and reduced cooldowns on guild mails. Decoration features for guild halls are still under consideration, though the studio admitted limited development resources may push that particular dream further down the priority list.

• Fun Festivals 🎉 – Each season will host unique holiday-themed events packed with lighthearted minigames and narrative diversions. These limited-time festivals are intended to break up the competitive rhythm and offer purely entertaining diversions.

• Daily Activities ⚔️ – Rather than piling on repetitive tasks, the team aims to develop more engaging daily content tied to battle mechanics and the evolving world map. Think dynamic world encounters that feel fresh each day.

Smoother Progression for New and Returning Players

Addressing long-standing feedback, the studio confirmed it is actively speeding up the Starter Story for new accounts, particularly on servers that launched later than others. Future patches will compress the early narrative so that newcomers can reach seasonal content faster.

Additionally, heroes that previously appeared in Rate Up Recruitment banners will eventually rotate into the Season Store. This change is designed to help players who missed limited-time summoning events—or those just returning after a break—catch up on key units without an insurmountable wall. A dedicated reset item for Exclusive Equipment is also in the works, giving players a way to reallocate precious Temporal Essences if they regret a past investment.

Tempering the Temporal Essence Grind

The scarcity of Temporal Essences has been a hot topic in the community. Rather than flatly increasing drop rates from existing sources, the developers are weaving extra Essences into new events and modes. Clashfronts already includes Stellar Crystals and Guild Medals as incentives, and similar logic will apply to upcoming content. More intriguingly, some events and shops will start offering hero-specific Temporal Essences for older characters, effectively lowering the barrier to maxing out fan favorites.

Hero Balance: Only Buffs, No Nerfs

In a direct reassurance to the player base, the studio confirmed it will not weaken any hero. Instead, underperforming characters will receive periodic empowerment during each season. The developers called balance the “cornerstone of the game” and promised to keep a close watch on high-level competition in Dream Realm and other ranked features. In a fun twist, the popular companions Chippy and Hammie are being considered for future playable content—not as deployable battle units, but within special side modes where they can fight alongside their human allies.

Team-Based Features and Crossover Surprises

Version 1.2.3 is set to introduce a brand-new team battle mode, and later updates will add even more cooperative and support-oriented features. The Corrupt Creature mode, which already lets players fight shoulder-to-shoulder, will receive further development to streamline the team-building experience.

The much-requested 3x and 4x speed options are currently in development and will be progressively deployed across existing modes. The team is also carefully evaluating a Skip Battle feature for Dream Realm to save time for veterans, while making sure newer players aren’t left behind in the learning curve.

On the gearing front, the recently added Magic Charm crafting system will see its resource flow improved. More Charm Essences have already been injected into the current patch, and next season’s plan centers on optimizing the sources of Magic Charms to reduce the sting of bad luck in competitive ranking.

Cosmetics, Currencies, and Social Flourishes

Fashion-forward players have plenty to look forward to as well. The Velvet Store introduced this season is just the beginning of a wider push for new hero skins and cosmetic items. The Friendship Store will also receive more social-oriented cosmetics and features. Meanwhile, the team is brainstorming additional uses for Omni-Acorns and Dolly Tickets—two currencies that many long-time players have stockpiled with little outlet.
